Tom Buiocchi joined ServiceChannel as an Executive Director in 2014. Tom has more than 30 years of experience leading growth companies in both technology and energy services, including Jeda Networks (interim CEO), Drobo (CEO), Mohr Davidow Ventures (Executive in Residence), Brocade Communications (CMO), Rhapsody Networks (Vice President Marketing), Enron Energy Services, FMES (co-founder and COO), and Hewlett-Packard. Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Union College and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Steven Gottfried is a co-founder and former CEO of ServiceChannel. Currently, he is the Executive Managing Director of ServiceChannel Ventures (SCV), an incubator focused on accelerating innovation in facilities management. Steven has more than two decades of experience in facilities maintenance-focused technology and entrepreneurship. Previous to founding ServiceChannel, Steven founded and was CEO at Service Contractor Systems, an enterprise resource planning solution designed for service contractors that has more than 400 deployments throughout the country. Steven was also CEO at Capital Electronics, Inc., another company he founded.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts Steven degree from George Washington University.
Mr. Korn is a real estate industry veteran with more than 25 years' experience in real estate law, development, and finance. Prior to co-founding Palladian Funds, Mr. Korn began his career as a corporate and real estate attorney. In 1993, Mr. Korn co-founded Korn & Katz, LLC, a private real estate investment and development partnership. Mr. Korn is also the co-founder and former CEO of Rexford Funding, a successful commercial finance company he launched in 2004. Mr. Korn received his BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania, his JD from Cornell Law School, and his MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
Dan Leff joined ServiceChannel as the Executive Chairman in 2014. Dan has extensive operating experience building and leading global energy services and software businesses. He has executive experience with Viridity Energy (Executive Chairman), Hara Software (CEO), Clayton Dubilier & Rice (Advisory Partner), Invensys (co-COO), Enron Energy Services (Chairman and CEO post- bankruptcy, and COO pre-bankruptcy) and FMES (co-founder and CEO). Dan began his career with United Technologies Carrier Corporation, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
Serge Lubensky is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of ServiceChannel, having served in this role since 1999. As CTO, Serge applies more than 20 years of experience in application and database development to ensure that ServiceChannel continues to deliver the latest technology advancements to customers in a dynamically evolving online marketplace. Previous to ServiceChannel, Serge was the Principal Software Architect at Service Technology, Inc., who developed integrated software solutions designed for service contractors.
Serge is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio-Electronics with a Masters in Science degree in Computer Science.
Cameron joined ServiceChannel as a non-Executive Director in 2014. Previously, Cameron founded Bayard Capital Partners Pty Ltd. (“Bayard Capital Partners”) and Bayard Capital Management Pty Ltd. (“Bayard Capital Management”, and together with Bayard Capital Partners and their affiliates, “Bayard”) in 2002 and has subsequently deployed over $750 million of capital to build Landis+Gyr into the world’s largest electricity smart metering company through 14 acquisitions and investments. Bayard later sold Landis+Gyr to Toshiba Corporation for $2.3 billion in 2011. Prior to founding Bayard, Cameron was the CEO of APN, a company that made more than 30 acquisitions to become one of Australia’s largest diversified listed media companies. Mr. O’Reilly graduated from Oxford University with an honors degree in politics, philosophy and economics.
Brent Pearson joined ServiceChannel as an Executive Director in 2014. Most recently he was a Vice President of Bayard Capital and helped build Landis+Gyr into the world’s leading electricity metering and smart grid company responsible for acquisitions, business development, global partnerships, and fundraising. Bayard eventually sold Landis+Gyr to Toshiba for $2.3 billion in 2011. He has also advised private equity firm KKR on smart grid transactions. Previously Brent was a principal with Cherry Tree, a boutique investment banking and venture capital firm focused on technology, software and information utilities. He holds a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
