ServiceChannel Recognized by JMP Securities as one of 2018’s “Hot 100 Privately Held Software Companies”

NEW YORK — August 20, 2018 — ServiceChannel, the leading facilities management platform, announced that it has been named one of the “Hot 100” privately-held software companies by JMP Securities. The Hot 100 list is published annually by the San Francisco-based investment bank and is based on the evaluation of multiple criteria including financial growth, products and services, quality of the leadership team, and market potential.

ServiceChannel’s inclusion in the Hot 100 list demonstrates the company’s strong momentum and rapid growth. Today, its platform is used by more than 500 global brands including Bloomin’ Brands, Cole Haan, CVS Health, Louis Vuitton, and Under Armour, who rely on the company’s machine learning, predictive analytics, cloud applications, insights, and contractor marketplace to intelligently manage their physical locations and assets. Collectively, more than two million brick-and-mortar stores spend $100 billion annually on the repair and maintenance of their facilities, and until now, have lacked the empirical data, benchmarks, or business intelligence to understand the repair and maintenance process to improve quality and enhance the in-store experience.

“Consumers are spending trillions of dollars annually at physical stores. Now, more than ever, brands need intelligent software and technology to more efficiently and effectively maintain their spaces for customer attraction and retention, as well as lower costs,” said Tom Buiocchi, CEO of ServiceChannel. “Businesses across retail, banking, restaurants, grocery, storage, spa and fitness, and more are turning to ServiceChannel for help. We are thrilled that JMP recognized us on this impressive list.”

ServiceChannel joins other notable software companies like Asana, Datadog, Docker, Drift, Looker, PagerDuty, Slack, Snowflake, and Sprinklr on this year’s list. In addition to this year’s JMP Securities Hot 100 List, ServiceChannel was recently named a 2018 Nucleus Research ROI Award Winner.

JMP Securities, a San Francisco-based, full-service investment bank, publishes its annual “Hot 100” list to highlight the best privately held software companies as determined by the firm’s technology equity research group. 2018 marks the ninth edition of this report. JMP Securities selects the Hot 100 based on a range of criteria, including prospects for addressable market opportunity, competitive differentiation, sustainable growth, product value-add, and quality of leadership.
